Regarding my professional background, I became an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon after graduating from the University of Tennessee, Medical Center, Knoxville. Before that, I attended a year of internship at Parkland Hospital, University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center. I also graduated as a dentist from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. Like many of us in the profession, I have been incredibly lucky to have had learned from selfless, tireless, immensely talented, master clinicians. They are my heroes.
